LAY LINES - WORK IN PROGRESS

A PUBLIC ART WORK FOR ENDERBY WHARF - AUTUMN 2018

Process from concept to realisation: take the cross section of three original submarine telecommunications cables made at Enderby Wharf on the Greenwich Peninsula:

telegraph 1857 / telephone 1970 / optical era 2018

From drawings and  photographs, develop small-scale prototypes, leading to large sculptural forms cast in concrete on site as a public art work for the river Thames adjacent to Enderby House.
